Why You Should Check Your Heart Rate When Training!

Wearable technologies are all around us. Smartwatches and step- and pulse-tracking bands are everywhere we look. How should you use them for your exercise? How do they help you track how hard you should go on your workout?

For the majority of people, their normal resting heart rate ranges between 60-100 beats a minute. Lower numbers can indicate more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. An advanced athlete's heart rate can go as low as 40-50 beats per minute.
